Cue is live — the right line, while you're still in the room

Everyone has walked out of a call and thought of the perfect thing to say ten minutes too late. Cue, now on the App Store, is our attempt to move that moment earlier — into the conversation, where it's still useful.

Cue is a live coach. It listens while you talk, transcribes quietly in the background, and surfaces a cue exactly when you need one: the precise line to say next, a short nudge to keep you on track, a smart answer when someone asks a hard question, or a talking point to weave in. A live tone meter reads the room so you always know where you stand — a sales call, an interview, a negotiation, a hard personal conversation, or public speaking.

Briefed before you begin

Generic advice is useless mid-sentence, so Cue prepares. Set your goal and talking points, connect your calendar so Cue knows who you're meeting, and add notes about the person or the deal. By the time you hit start, Cue is briefed — its cues are about your conversation, not a script anyone could have written.

And you find out how it went

When the conversation ends, Cue gives you a score and a talk-ratio, marks the key moments that mattered and what to watch next time, and leaves you clear follow-ups so nothing slips. The coaching doesn't stop when you hang up — it just changes from live to hindsight.

Private by architecture, not by promise

A coach that hears everything you say is only acceptable if it keeps it. So Cue has no account and no backend of ours. Transcription and cues run through an OpenAI API key that you provide, stored only in your device's keychain — and in Apple mode, audio is transcribed on-device, with only the transcript text sent onward for cues. Nothing is sent to us; we operate no server for Cue and never see your audio, your transcripts, or your key.

The best thing to say is usually simple. The hard part is remembering it while someone is looking at you.

Use it responsibly

Cue records and transcribes a live conversation, and the laws about that vary by place and often require the other person's consent. Using Cue lawfully — including getting any consent you need — is on you. We built the tool; how and where you point it is your call.
